Climate change and water drive legislative agenda

We're gearing up for the coming legislative session in Sacramento. Much of the speculation about the legislative agenda in post-budget California (post 2009 budget) centers on the issue of water including people, fish, dams and other infrastructure concerns. Add to the mix skirmishes over solutions proposed for the remediation of climate change. The Sacramento Bee opines on that brewing debate here. Let me add that there are abundant reasons for weaning us from fossil fuel dependence exclusive of climate change.
